Each May, the Greenwich Arts Council (GAC) turns Greenwich Avenue into a strolling gallery. A large and exciting city arts festival, Art to the Avenue has its Opening set for this Thursday, May 1, from 5:30–8pm. That evening musicians and street performers fill the street, entertaining strollers.

Barbara Erdmann Photography is lucky enough this year to have artwork featured by both Ralph Lauren Greenwich and Lillian August in Greenwich. I will be at the Lauren store on 265 Greenwich Ave. on the evening of May 1, so please stop by and say “hi.”

All the art on display is for sale, and a 30% tax deduction for the purchaser benefits GAC, which supports artists and offers arts education programs. (The GAC website has a map of all the art.
